About
CreArte Latino was founded in 2012 as a creative hub for the Latino/Hispanic community in Sarasota and Manatee Counties. In 2017, it transitioned into a non-profit organization, adopting the name CreArte Latino Cultural Center to reflect its evolving mission, fostering a bilingual cultural exchange between Latinos/Hispanics and the broader community. This is achieved through a diverse array of arts and educational initiatives, including theater productions, book clubs, dance, theater, and music workshops. Additionally, CreArte offers Spanish and English classes and actively collaborates with local artists and organizations, as well as playwrights from Spain and Latin America, to enrich and unify the cultural tapestry of the community.

Mission Statement
CreArte celebrates Latino/Hispanic heritage and promotes a cultural exchange through arts and education.
Vision Statement
A thriving community where Latino/Hispanic art and culture inspire connection and pride.
